Recently i've gotten summoned for illegal parking, 3 in total, all within the span of 2 short weeks, the cny week to be exact.
1. $120 holland v - where i park along the road outside paris silk for a mere 5 mins where i went in to get my beloved s90.
2. $8 hougang plaza - in a parking lot without coupon, was playing mahjong with the gang
3. $70 fullterton - on pavement with all the other delivery personals, my usual parking place while at hsbc office
its damn angry when hard earned money just gets eroded away like that, all because the law says this that yada yada, btw i grade myself as quite a considerate driver, i try my best not to trouble other road users.
at one point of time i was even thinking wtf do ppl create these laws and do the enforcers use a lil digression before they create a dent in ppl's financial lives? (no wonder everybody hopes the traffic summon bike buang or langa) once dawn upon the uniform, seems like power is bestowed just like that, from where? heaven - definitely not, by public - nar, they couldnt give a shit. sometimes i really wonder will the individual gain my respect without the uniform on?
i was thinking to myself, should i :
1. blame myself for parking at illegal places for the first place (i know this sounds the most logical, i illegal park wat, so i should bear the consequences)
2. blame the ninja parking attendent (who are just doing their job to get paid to carry on with their lives)
3. blame myself for not earning enough money that a mere $200 creates a emotional disturbance (cos money problems are not really a problem if you have tons to spare)
Im sick of being poor! with this i guess u've known the route i'd took.
