Looking Back

Its a brand new year! a brand new decade even! and its time for some good ol' yearly resolutions to try to keep to, (or to look at it at in 1 years time and feel all guilty about)
1. Top on the list (and if i were to plan for every year at this very moment), this will still be top of it - BE HAPPY! Guess whose the one person that you talk the most to, the one person who you spend the most time with, the one person you gotta live with.
Thats yourself!
Like sun zi said "know yourself and your enemy and you'll win every single battle" im sure it'll help by first understanding yourself, why you feel this way or that while being kicked right in the butt, being rejected at love, or unable to showcase yourself properly at work, u'll be able to react much maturely!
I wanna get very comfortable with myself! in my own skin! in my own home without constantly thinking home is boring!
im sure most of you guys do, just look at your parents and im kinda sure u can go wondering how are they able to stay at home for so damn long. i think the reason behind it is because this house is made from scratch, brick by brick with their heart and soul and i wanna make my place / my room just like that - the want i want it to be.
2. Make a commitment to save! For the passed 23 years of my life, I have been living from hand to mouth with these thoughts :
"i've still got $100 in the bank account, what can i do with it"
"argh... prawning session costs $40 bucks, where can i get the $40 bucks from"
"the gf wants this (put in anything under the sun that you dun understand or rationalize with), how can i get the $150 for it"
Im sick of myself for not being mentally strong enough, not understanding the need to start saving, able to see the bigger picture. So i have set target! one thats a quantifiable, measurable, achievable(with a stretch and lotsa discipline) - Watch me hit it!
ok...tired. enough for a morning's worth but i still got lots i wanna write about.
till the next part of the resolution.
