More than just 150min and $6

Caught the highly anticipated Transformers 2 with the usual late night peeps at cine a lil after midnight. Strangely the cinema was only 30% full thou the movie was only just out, but the spaciousness was much welcomed.

The movie had action written all over it and it didnt disappoint, right from the start and a full 150min worth of actions and heart stopping moments.

When i catch a show, its never solely about the story line, the custom animation, the steven speilberg brand, the megan fox, nor the childhood reminiscence of the hansbro cartoon. Theres still the comfort of the seats, the visual, the surround sound system and one thing that cant be controlled is the person seating behind you whether he respects you or just treating your seat as a leg stand.

The story line was like a faint memory and by not trying to be too clever to change things here and there, its already a formula for readily acceptance.

With the Steven speilberg's branding, you could more of less gaurantee a decent film judging from the likes of Catch Me if You Can, Memoirs of a Geisha,Eagle Eye, The Legend of Zorro, The Jurassic Park Franchise, Men in Black series just a few out of the numerous.

Not to mention the megan fox appeal and the suave Josh Duhamel, its just like saying how to fail.

Still, its about how all the aspects merging together that creates that experience of more than just a movie, or another movie. How i spot a gd movie is that time passes in a instant just like in a trance, u r enjoying it, you know its going to be 2.5 hrs but tick! it just went by like that with you r fixated to the screen and the mind cleared of practically everything, no worries, no problems, no issues, except being seated and told a story through sight and sound.
