going 2-0 down at half-time definitely confirmed my suspicion that man city poses as a showstopper. just look at the 6-0 trashing of porthsmouth thats being dished out. and it dosen help that robinho is a class act with the numerous stepovers in front of the defenders even thou the ball is static, the flicks and turns, its stuff u've only see on spanish prima liga.
the story dosen end here, liverpool manage to come back ending 3-2 at the final whistle. these are the stuff of champions. the only dampener was the injury of skertel, hes gonna be out for a long long time. lots of ppl have said he was a flop with the amount of money spent, comparing him to vidic, terry, yada yada... but i think he is as gd as it gets, quiet, low profile, and does the job just as well.
the best spell of the game was during the 70ish minutes, keeping the possession and passing it from left to right, up front and right back, probing and passing, knocking on man city's front door, waiting for the precise moment, very manchester united.
If liverpool where to carry on like this till christmas, im sure title hopes are up there.
