So its been another month

These days I realize i only spend money on 2 things : travel and shares, these 2 are (as of now) the only 2 things i would without a flinch fork out a sizable sum of moolah.

And so its been another month with the YOG happening in between albeit us not winning a gold nor getting in a convincing enough position that we actually believe we can win a gold. Somehow after all the "hype" and eventual disappointments, it seems like we are already elated to have a medal be it silver or bronze, very much "happy to be there and win something" kind of feel while the other big nations swipe gold after gold as if they are building a pavement made of YOG gold medals... how it ended up like that i kinda question but well thats another story for another day...

On the coaching side - this is the first time i've felt confident enough to send my st andrew players for individual event. the others are quickly picking up with the hard work put in week in week out, things look good, as the saying goes "you reap what you sow", well im feelin it.

The national day just went by and u cannot miss it as us tax payers money goes a poppin with the fireworks..

what actually goes on silently in my head :

"there goes a thousand",
"ooo, theres another thousand",
"wow, thats definately worth 5",
"aiseh, this one cfm at least 20 thousand"

and and and lastly Oct's coming! its like the highlight of the year for me at least where i'll be traveling and trying out 3 new experiences in one month, imagine that... 3 holidays in 1 month! I love my job!

at the start is the annual company trip which should be chang mai, then is the whopass 10 day hk/shen zhen/macau, and at the end of the month is genting's trailblazer, not some highroller gambling competition but an adventure race in the jungle, not sure if climbing on all fours through rough terrain, maneuvering through mud, poles, obstacles are ur cup of tea, but it sure rocks my boat.

I've started buying TOTO... in a bid to take a shortcut, but im not really sure if i was actually looking for a shortcut or the adrenaline when matching the tickets knowing your dream lies between you eyes, hands, tickets and the day's paper or computer.
