You need the system and the system needs you.

Just read today’s business times and there was this article on page 12 “OLD PCs choke China’s e-waste capital”

In short, copper and gold found in e-waste are highly valuable and numerous e-waste are being transported to china through underground ways. And the workers earn about US $3 dollars a day and there are around 30000 e-waste workers in china. The workers are very badly protected against these waste and 9 out of 10 in GuiYu are suffering from problems with their skin, nervous, respiratory or digestive systems.

After the valuable materials are taken out, the leftovers are dumped, burnt and some even block roads. Imagine how big it is to even block a road. China did try to churn out these activities but the business was too lucrative and the only thing materialized was that the locals are more vigilant to reporters and the authorities. Reporters and green activist are not welcomed.

A car carrying reuters journalist to GuiYu was stopped on the outskirts of town by stocky men traveling in a car with blacked out windows who threatened to beat up the driver. Local businessmen fear critical reports, for it the government cracks down and the waste stops coming, the money will stop flowing too.

Arn we just like them, we go tru the Singapore system, fighting for education, fighting for job, these few days fighting for HDB flats even, as much as we need the system, the system needs us to thrive.

And how many times did someone or anyone wanted to break out of it and get suck right back in the next moment.

And your best bet to get out? “GET RICH OR DIE TRYING”

sometimes being the good guy just dosen't cut it. the father got fined a 100 bucks for parking his company lorry somewhere below the block because its too big for the multi story carpark. being the abiding citizen who nv fails to buy season parking for his motorcycle and constantly nagging me to buy my season parking and be safe and park in the multi story carpark, he himself got fined, and to think that he tried to minimize traffic obstruction by parking at some deserted area. btw, he had the company lorry with him because he had another order to meet at a later time at 11pm and so he came home for a well-derserving rest.

it just dosen't pay to be good, totally not worth it.

Its 930 now and I’ve finished clearing yesterdays email, transferring all the files to their departments and done some brain exercise on http://www.goofyscrewball.blogspot.com and http://www.blinkymummy.blogspot.com

Now, theres not much to do except the 6 mths backlog which I’ve decided to do at a very slow rate and hopefully I will not finish by the time I ord. this is to deter all the observant eyes from feeling “ wow, hes a good worker and since I got this another shit, must well just pass it to him since hes tt fast, im sure he’ll be able to handle it, it only took him like …… to finish all the back log”

But the problem is I feel like reading business times. Its sitting wondering on the table waiting to be caressed by those lustful eyes. well, someone said “patience is discipline”

Patience is the key

Sometimes it really pays to act busy. Act busy and big shots wun notice u when jay walking around the office and so will not mention u in their meetings and wun arrow some saikang for u. and for my case, it’s a 6 mth backlog since 2006. its not 1 or 2 week backlog, it’s freaking backlog since 2006. at 2006, durai was still earning his big bucks yet to be uncovered, miss japan hadn’t won the crown nor did the govt proclaimed the GST rebate, and never would I know there is half a year of saikang to clear in the future.

And wat can nsf do? Nothing, exactly nothing, Thank you very much for giving me so much additional shit. They say the person whose suppose to do this had tremendous workload, something like 3 times more and shes going for maternity leave very soon. She did bring up this issue and till now, the issues snowballed to all these backlog since 2006. and so, all these shit been handed down to u. so now a nsf earning at least 3 times lesser is forced asked to cover ur shit and u earning 3 times more can happily go enjoy ur maternity fully paid leave and give out a new thing to the world.

Thank you. Fucking thank you very much

Its exactly 340 days left to ORD! Thou it was not long ago did I post about having exactly 1 year left, these 20 days have been a real hard time. My bike gave up on me costing 100 bucks to revive it, appeal to HDB failed and it costs another 60 bucks, 22 bucks for the doctor and 17 for this month’s season parking.

Great, the GSS Great Singapore Sale is finally here and I have no money to spend, simply great.
