this is bad, this is bad.

i happen to come across this website http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/07/10-reasons-you-should-never-get-a-job/ while surfing on www.mrbrown.com . as u can see on the title of the hyperlink, why should i nv get a job. its a good article man, seriously, go take a look my friends and peers, cos i believe those that tune in to my blog is around my age and maybe some ideas and philosophy will point them in a good direction.

ok, enough advertisment on the website. the point is it is bad...

"5. Way too risky.

Many employees believe getting a job is the safest and most secure way to support themselves.

Morons.

Social conditioning is amazing. It’s so good it can even make people believe the exact opposite of the truth.

Does putting yourself in a position where someone else can turn off all your income just by saying two words (”You’re fired”) sound like a safe and secure situation to you? Does having only one income stream honestly sound more secure than having 10?

The idea that a job is the most secure way to generate income is just silly. You can’t have security if you don’t have control, and employees have the least control of anyone. If you’re an employee, then your real job title should be professional gambler." adapted from http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/07/10-reasons-you-should-never-get-a-job/.

this is the 5th point of the article. and what really striked fear was the last sentence. " if ur're an employee, then ur real job title should be """professional gambler""""

man, that was one of my dreams since like secondary school? can u imagine i applied for the posb debit mastercard so that i could bet on internet betting websites? at that time i was only 17... and by just stepping into any of the sg pools outlets, die die sure kenna question" xiao di, ni ji sui" and i have to come up with excuses like checking out the rates la or helping parents buy 4D . the gd thing is that applicants for the mastercard only needs to be 17 years old. and woohoo, thats my virgin step into the betting industry.

carrying on with the story, after reading that "never get a job" article, there's links below, and so happen i clicked onto this one http://www.stevepavlina.com/articles/courage-to-live-consciously.htm . and while scanning through the article, i saw this...

What Is Courage?

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.- Ambrose Redmoon

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.- Mark Twain

Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway.- John Wayne

shit. this was the point man, the point i started to wander off. starting thinking about the possibilities. so should i give it a try? or should i not? my fear was the sudden drop in numerical figures in my bank account.

pros.

cons

so any supporters? or investors? ur know how to find me yea, will be waiting ur calls or smses.

this is bad, this is bad

caught sophie scholl on friday. a political show during the nazi times, saying how these 3 individuals tried to make a difference with their ideology. it was a true story.

the point is they dared to try. and the consequences of being caught is death of worst, torture. and try they did. will i or we, people or our generation, the so called brain workers of the current era, dare to try? for a believe, an idea, to start a revolution? or maybe just dare to be different. but then heros always die first.

the best part of the show was during the interrogation. a pro hitler interrogater and sophie scholl the pro idea. ideas man ideas. dun try to be so safe can. . .

Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado

N:Am I throwing you off?
T:Nope!
N:Didn't think so...
T:How ya doin' young lady
The feeling that you gave me really drives me crazy
You dont have a player on your trunk
I was at a loss of words
First time that we spoke

N:If ya lookin' for a girl that’ll treat you right
If you lookin’ for her in the day time in the light
T:You might be the type if I play my cards right
I'll find out by the end of the night

N: You expect me to just let you hit it
But will you still respect me if you get it?

T:All I can do is try, gimme one chance
What’s the problem? I don’t see no ring on your hand

I be the first to admit it, I’m curious about you, you seem so innocent

N: You wanna get in my world, get lost in it
Boy I’m tired of running, lets walk for a minute

Chorus-
T:Promiscuous girl
Wherever you are
I’m all alone
And it's you that I want

N: Promiscuous boy
You already know
That I’m all yours
What you waiting for?

T:Promiscuous girl
You're teasing me
You know what I want
And I got what you need

N: Promiscuous boy
Let's get to the point
Cause we're on a roll
You ready?

Verse-
N: Roses are red
Some diamonds are blue
Chivalry is dead
But you're still kinda cute

T:Hey! I can't keep my mind off you
Where you at, do you mind if I come through

N: I’m out of this world come with me to my planet
Get you on my level do you think that you can handle it?

T:They call me Thomas
last name Crown
Recognize game
I'm a lay mine's down

N: I'm a big girl I can handle myself
But if I get lonely I’ma need your help [whoah]
Pay attention to me I don't talk for my health
T:I want you on my team
N: So does everybody else.

T:Baby we can keep it on the low [low]
Let your guard down ain’t nobody gotta know [know]
If you with it girl I know a place we can go

N: What kind of girl do you take me for?

Chorus-
T:Promiscuous girl
Wherever you are
I’m all alone
And it's you that I want

N: Promiscuous boy
You already know
That I’m all yours
What you waiting for?

T:Promiscuous girl
You're teasing me
You know what I want
And I got what you need

N: Promiscuous boy
Let's get to the point
Cause we're on a roll
You ready?

Verse-
T: Don't be mad, don't get mean
N: Don't get mad, don't get mean

T: Hey! Don't be mad, don't get mean
N: Don't get mad, don't be mean

T:Wait! I don't mean no harm
I can see you with my t-shirt on

N:I can see you with nothing on
feelin' on me before you bring that on

T: Bring that on
N: You know what I mean

T:Girl, I’m a freak you shouldn't say those things

N:I’m only trying to get inside of your brain
To see if you can work me the way you say

T:It's okay, it's alright
I got something that you gon' like

N:Hey is that the truth or are you talking trash
Is your game M.V.P. like Steve Nash

Chorus-
T: Promiscuous Girl
Wherever you are
I’m all alone
And its you that I want

N: Promiscuous Boy
I'm calling your name
But you're driving me crazy
The way you're making me wait

T: Promiscuous Girl
You're teasing me
You know what I want
And I got what you need

N: Promiscuous Boy
We're one in the same
So we don't gotta play games no more

its been a mth. and 19 more mths to go.

gotten news that mr liang ("liang lao shi" which he is commonly known as) has passed on. once my badminton coach and i dare say he played a huge part of wat i am today, or should i say my badminton skills (though i dun really recall wat he did or how he trained up, maybe we all were young to see the big picture, but he sure did some magic)

i still remember the hanging man that he makes from sticks, rubberbands and strings. its like an ikea fingerie with both hands stretch up into the sky being hang by strings on a wooden stand that looks like a H. i know my description sucks... anyway,

i was in primary 2 then, at evening time and after his chinese lessons, and he sell these fingeries at to his class. and kids from other classes will ask permisson to buy from him and not long after bunchs of kids will flock to his classroom. i still remember he sells it at 80cent each. the thing about these fingeries were that when u apply force onto the bottom of the H, they will turn around. tts wat fascinates 8 year olds.

this makes the 2nd and more to come. hello~~~~ welcome to the real world~~~~

Waiting On The World To Change

me and all my friends
we're all misunderstood
they say we stand for nothing and
there's no way we ever could
now we see everything that's going wrong
with the world and those who lead it
we just feel like we don't have the means
to rise above and beat it

so we keep waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

it's hard to beat the system
when we're standing at a distance
so we keep waiting
waiting on the world to change
now if we had the power
to bring our neighbors home from war
they would have never missed a Christmas
no more ribbons on their door
and when you trust your television
what you get is what you got
cause when they own the information, oh
they can bend it all they want

that's why we're waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

it's not that we don't care,
we just know that the fight ain't fair
so we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

and we're still waiting
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting waiting on the world to change
one day our generation
is gonna rule the population
so we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

we keep on waiting
waiting on the world to change

the good thing about this national day is that i am able to book out. but the bad thing is that we have another 3 articles to complete by the end of this week. anything, anything for a book out day man. u name it we do it, just dun rob us of our 1 or 2 days rest on our personal bed, without worries of lying right on the spot of drool the previous owner left behind.

6 hrs into my book out time and the main objective complete, a steamboat session at one of their places. 4 hrs into the program and was already feeling the effect of lights off. a pity we or basically i am too stoned to carry out the lucky draw or join in the mahjong session at the balcony nor the winning eleven competition at the room.

so wat was i doing, sitting on the floor with 3 other recruits watching animal planet. watching animal planet during one of our precious book out days? haha, we must be crazy. and surprisingly, it is interesting as it talked about wolves and watevers wateva. how deprived of the square black box that wat programs dosen matter at all, as long as theres some moving things other than men without hair. maybe thats how army changes ppl or that they say.

to u my brothers.
